Our tribute to the imminently drinkable, simple yet complex Czech-style pilsner, Foam First pours a pale golden color with brilliant clarity. Mt. Hood hops added during the boil and whirlpooling lend spicy, herbal and subtly floral notes to the aroma and flavor in this super clean lager that finishes light and incredibly crisp.

Pours a somewhat hazed gold with 2+ fingers of ivory colored head. almost drops bright, above average head retention & better lacing
S: Grassy, floral & herbal hops, breadyness once warmed up
T: Follows the nose, some dryness & grainy notes up front, faint lemon as well. Sweet grainyness/bread notes mingle grassy & herbal bitterness, plus dryness once warmer. Finishes with grassy & bready notes, some perfumy hops
MF: Medium body, soft carbonation, good balance. A little more carbonation would've driven the flavors more
Solid Pils, doesn't sing to me, but serviceable enough. Drinks fairly easy

I'm trying this beer off the tapper at the brewery as part of a four sample flight. It poured a clear golden with thin white head that is leave some lace. The scent had grain and fruit notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with bright malt base with subtle fruit and grain blend presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall its a great beer.

Poured from 16-ounce can into a tulip glass. Ever-so-slightly hazy pale yellow, with a thick white head that dissipated within a few moments. Aromas and flavors of light malt, hints of tart fruit and funk, peppery spice, and a grassy and floral overtone. Light bodied, with some nice bitterness that lingers on the dry and crisp finish. Excellent pairing with spicy Mexican food. (As always, YMMV.)

Gold in color and mostly clearly complected. There’s a fingernail of dishwater white on top. The aroma is of pale grains and faint grassy hops. I’m tasting grassy hops and pale grains. The mouth is light, crisp, and refreshing.

Drinking from a can. Poured foamy as the name says but overall leaves me flat. Foam dies fast.
Very light in body and flavor so i guess it fits the profile of a Czech 'lager'. I guess I was expecting more of a pils, so can't blame them there.
Buuut as a light sessionable lager not terrible. With a name like foam first I was expecting more full body mouthfeel and foam. 4 hands is a great brewery but this one I'll pass on.

16oz can. Poured out a clear, golden yellow color with a small, white head of foam. It left minimal lacing on the glass. It smelled of grasses, bread crust, caramel and toffee. It tasted of caramel, bready malt, grasses and light citrus notes.
