Clear golden color with a respectable foamy white head.
The aroma is crackery malt, pine resin and citrus zest.
The taste is along the same lines with some grapefruit, lemon and herbal notes added, a nice profile for hops lovers, moderate bitterness with the cracker malt providing some balance.
The body is medium, good carbonation, crisp but inviting.
Altogether, this is a very decent take on the west coast style, tasty and refreshing, very nice.

Pours a dark orange with a mild haze to the translucency. Head is two fingers of white foam. Aroma is bitter, with resiny, herbal, medicinal, and mild spicy hops making up the bulk of the hops. Cracker malts underneath. Flavor profile builds on earthy hop notes, hitting resin, herbal, and medicinal along the way. Mild spicy and late, light tropical fruit hop notes give it a little more character. Finish is dry, leaning into cracker malts. Mouth feel is medium-thick with a fuzzy and soft texture. Overall, a dry, semi-bitter west coast IPA. It does seem to be a little less bitter out of the can a month or two after release, compared the draft pour I had.

Served in a 2023 AM membership glass from a 16oz can. Reviewed from notes.
