This imperial milk stout, brewed exclusively for our friends at Schnucks Markets, was aged in freshly-emptied bourbon barrels with coffee and cacao nibs. Expect notes of rich espresso and bittersweet chocolate balanced by a lingering fudgy malt sweetness.

16oz can. Poured out an opaque, jet-black color with a small, light brown head of fluffy foam. It left some thin lacing on the glass. It smelled of coffee, chocolate, bourbon, and charred oak. Sweet chocolate taste with molasses, vanilla, coffee and some oak flavors.
