I'm trying this beer off the tapper at the brewery as part of a four sample flight. It poured a hazy orangish with thin white head that is leave some lace. The scent had bold lavender notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with bright malt base with bold lavender and medicinal blend presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall its a great beer.

 

16oz can. Poured out a hazy, golden yellow color with a small, white head of fluffy foam. It left minimal lacing. It smelled of lavender, caramel, toffee and citrus. Sweet orange, grapefruit and caramel taste with that lavender presence.

Copper to orange colored with a fingernail of off white. The complexion is very hazy. Light, soapy lacing. There’s lots of mandarin orange aroma. I’m tasting bitter orange. The mouth is resinous and dry.
