16oz can pours an extremely deep brown-black with substantial rocky head of light brown foam that fades to a island and a thin ring. Smells richly of dark, roasty malts, molasses, coffee, and cocoa. Rich but restrained roasty malt flavor with minor notes of wood, molasses, coffee, and cocoa. A sour-bitter-astrigent flavor follows that seems typical for Irish Dry Stouts. Medium body with a ephemeral feel, shifting quickly to a more thin mouthfeel. Subtle sweetness, mild roasty-woody bitterness, sudsy carbonation mouthfeel, pretty rapid, airy finish, and a slightly sour bittersweet aftertaste.
This beer achieves its goal of sessionable stout that still tastes good with flying colors. The thinness is balanced perfectly with the flavor to allow easy drinking without feeling watery (like nitro Irish Stout cans) at all. Always love finding a great beer in this style that seems so overrun with mediocre beers. Second time purchasing, and far from my last.

Black in color with minimal light penetration. There’s an inch of tightly packed creamy brown on top. It faded within a few minutes to a fingernail. The aroma is of dark bready malt. I’m tasting dark bready malt to caramel and dark crackery malt. The mouth is light and refreshing.

Opague black color with ruby highlights and a respectable and lasting tan head with plenty of lacing.
The aroma is roasted malts, hints of coffee and dark chocolate.
The taste is likewise, roasted malts, coffee and just a hint of chocolate. The finish is dry with just a bit of char and coffee bitterness.
The body is light/medium, good level of carbonation, smooth and easy to drink.
Altogether, this is a fairly typical Irish Dry Stout, but well done, easy and enjoyable drinking anytime, (need some corned beef and cabbage to go with it.)

This is a pretty light stout. Slightly tart with a very mild hint of coffee flavor. This looked like a stout but tasted more like an ale. Overall a pleasant drinking experience, but pretty mild for a stout.

Just picked this one up from the grocery store. From a sixteen ounce aluminum can, it pours a solid black color (deep ruby around the edges if held to the light) with a tall, light-tan, rocky head. The aroma has notable roasted grain scents, backed with a little chocolate and coffee. Straightforward stout scents. The taste is balanced, if not just slightly dry. The roasted notes come through in the flavor as well. This isn't a suped-up fancy stout. It's an old-school no-nonsense, drinkable stout. I really enjoyed it.

16oz can. Poured out an opaque, jet-black color with a small, light brown head of fluffy foam. It left sticky sheets of lace on the glass. It smelled of roasted malt, chocolate and toffee. Subtle coffee and roasted malt taste with chocolate and toffee.
