The fourth release in a six part series of collaborations with breweries from around the country to bring Voltron to life, Voltron Volume Four is a juicy, hazy IPA brewed with Surly Brewing Company in Minneapolis. Late- and dry-hopping with a blend of Strata, Mosaic and Alora contributes bright notes of sweet tropical fruit, mango, pineapple and yuzu that leap from this soft, pillowy IPA.

16 oz can stamped ?/?/24 into a Becker.
L: SRM 4.5 Pours hazy dark orange gold with a thin white head that moves quickly to edge foam, light steady carbonation, some light sticky lacing with hints of banding.
S: Very subtle non-descript candied fruits, Very simple.
T: Citrus, very light melon, distant citrus pith, oats, wheat, it is lightly sweet, not much aftertaste.
F: Lightly brisk, moderately juicy medium to med-light bodied feel with a fairly fast finish that is slightly drying.
O: Remarkably easy to drink at 6.5% ABV and is juicy. It is simple and quenching and is hop & fruit forward overall. All tastes are essentially quite light and are fairly balanced. It is very good in its style.

Copper to gold in color with a quarter inch of off white on top. Heavy, soapy lacing. The aroma is of melon and lime. I’m tasting melon and lime hops. The mouth is lightly sticky and refreshing.

16oz can with amazing Voltron artwork. Poured out a cloudy, light golden color with a small, off-white head of foam. It left sticky patches of lace on the glass. It smelled of pear, peach, caramel and some resin notes. Sweet fruity taste with pear, peach and orange. Sharp bitterness and caramel backbone.
