Drift into the tropics with Tropical OctoHaze, an amped-up take on the original hazy IPA. Brewed with Mosaic, Galaxy and Nectaron hops, this version bursts with juicy waves of passion fruit, papaya and peach. Infused with mango and guava, it’s bursting with island intensity while maintaining a soft, velvety mouthfeel from fermentation with the London Fog yeast strain.

My can is 8.3% ABV; canned Mid-December

Pours a hazed gold with a thumb+ of eggshell colored head. Below average head retention & lacing

S: Loads of mango & peach

T: Follows the nose, a little dryness, guava & oranges up front, some coconut notes too. Peaches, mangoes, pineapple green melon & dryness as this beer warms up, some coconut too. Finishes very sweet with some acidic pineapple, coconut & crap ton of mango ( not my fave )

MF: Medium body, slight carbonation, skews a little sweet, some acidity too, sticky on the teeth

Drinks easy for the ABV, found the flavors a bit forced, no synergy. I will really need to be jonesing for sweetness to finish the other 3

Poured from a can. Really cool looking can. Hazy and orange in color with a thin head. Smells of orange, peach and passion fruit. Flavors of tropical fruit, passion fruit with a hoppy backbone. Smooth and easy to drink. Good

Copper colored with a light haziness. There’s a fingernail of off white around the rim and covering three quarters of the top. Light to moderate lacing is on the glass. There’s aroma is of peaches, melon, and tangerine. I’m tasting a wallop of peach and some unripe watermelon. The mouth is lightly sticky and resinous.

16oz can. Poured out a very cloudy, golden orange color with a small, off-white head of foam. It left sudsy sheets of lace. It smelled of orange, mango, grapefruit and caramel. Very sweet fruity taste with toasted caramel and a sharp bitterness.
