Definite boozy hop bomb but I liked this beer as a hophead. The red, malty sweetness is imparted although generally the organicy, piney hops dominate.. The booziness is present start to finish but still finishes creamy and smooth. Well worth a try but not if you don't like strong hoppy beers.

Poured on-tap at the brewery and served in a shaker pint, the beer is an amber-tinged copper-orange color, with a foamy, clingy, off-white head. Nose of caramel sweetness, bitter and resinous hops notes, floral highlights, and subtle citrus notes. The flavors are tangy sweet forward, with a drying hops bitterness to follow. Sugary caramel, with citrus notes on the fringe, followed by notes of pine pitch, cut grass, bitter vegetal greens, and tart grapefruit. Nice. Mid-bodied and super dry, with a resinous and citrus aftertaste. Hops resin linger on a slick, slow, dry finish. Very solid beer.
