Poured on-tap at the brewery and served in a shaker pint, the beer has the same look as the Mexicali, but with a foamier head. Nose of tart and dry red wine, with cocoa and coffee in the backbone. Flavors are tart and dry grape forward, with cocoa and earthy notes in the backbone. Very wine heavy notes forward, with earthy notes and bitterness to balance. Smooth, light, and dry bodied, with a tart and sweet grape aftertaste on a bittersweet backbone. Dry, smooth finish, with a red wine linger. Very tasty brew.
