It's the moment you’ve been waiting for. Blackbird pairs tart sharpness with the soothing characteristics of black tea for a sessionable sour that hits all the high notes. Herbal and floral aromatics are accented by hints of tart citrus from our kettle-souring process.

On tap at Fat Dogs Grill And Pub. Pours lightly hazy golden amber color with a 1 finger dense off white head with good retention. Nice spotty lacing and streaming carbonation. Aromas and flavors of big tart/sour lime, lemon, green apple, white grape, pear, lacto funk, wheat, leather, grass, peppercorn, black tea, herbal, grass. Medium high lactic tart/sourness and light bitter/spiciness. Crisp lactic acidic finish with light body wheat creaminess. Minimal puckering with lingering acidity. Refreshing and very drinkable. Very classic tasting Berliner that was just a bit more sour than I expected. Added black tea blends well with the style and is not overwhelming.

Lightly-hazed gold with a finger of off-white head that quickly settles into a small crown that leaves spotty lacing.
Lightly sour aroma with hay, lemon, bergamot, honey and black tea.
Lemony sourness in the taste. There’s sort of an artificial sweetener quality to it, too. The tea from the nose is much, much lighter here.
On the heavy side of light bodied with sharp carbonation.
Refreshing, crushable beer that would likely be super refreshing on a hot summer day.
