Served from tap into a Black & Blue III shaker. Poured a deep dark brown with a half finger khaki colored head that subsided to a minimal amount quickly. Maintained decent lacing throughout the glass. The aroma was comprised of sweet malt, roasted malt, intense banana, and breadiness. The flavor was of sweet malt, roasted malt, dark fruit, banana, fruit, and bread. It had a medium feel on the palate with medium carbonation. Overall this was a pretty good brew. The aroma on this one was definitely the highlight as it was quite intense and the banana esters dominated it. Really nicely done on the nose. The flavor was also pretty good, but just fell a little short of the aroma. Definitely worth trying if you get the opportunity to do so. Tick.
