Really black pour, but being Harper's ice cold and filled to the brim with no head.
Roast dominates the smell. Chocalate insubstantial, just really, really roasty.
Kind of ho-hum flavor. Chocolate and roast present. A tingle of sweetness, but could be bigger and maltier. Not bad, just unexciting.
Medium body, but almost greasy on the tongue. Not terribly pleasant, but drinkable. Ended up haveing two pints, our server brought us a free round for being so slow, so I wasn't complaining.
