Is this really a lambic? By taste alone I'd have to say I'm not sure how it's a lambic. As a fruit beer, it's great. Nice peach tones. Smooth and extremely easy to drink. But very minimal to almost no funky stuff going on. Could use some more punch. Still a very nice drinker though.

Pours a light brown color with an off white head. The aroma is very tart, somewhat malty, and sporting indiscernible fruit notes. The taste is very sour, with some peach coming through midway, along with a firm malt base. One of the more sour Draai Laag brews, this is like a lambic on steroids. Wild yeasts are working well together here. Full bodied, well carbonated, just a bit dry. The 8% ABV is not present in the taste, but is felt as you drink. This offering, simply known as "Peach Lambic", is frankly one of the better brews I've had in Pittsburgh lately. If brewed in bigger batches perhaps it could be found outside of the brewpub and in local taverns. As it is now, its an illusive, but great beer.
