500 ml bottle, limited release version of Goedenacht aged in rum casks.
Pours a hazy golden orange, no real head to speak of save for a brief white ring.
Smells of honey, bretty tartness, apple juice, and rum spices.
Tastes of lemon and apple cider tartness over a light honey and apple-cinnamon sweetness. Finishes with a hint of coriander and white wine grape.
Body is light with minimal carbonation.
A nice twist on the standard version that tends towards mead and cider with a spiced rum undertone. Unique hybrid of styles and well worth trying if you can get it.
