Bottle

Pours a slightly hazy reddish brown. Bit of lacing for a head.

Smells of cinnamon, elderberry, berries, oak, smoke and peat.

Tastes of berries, citrus, red wine grapes, oak, and the distinct peat of Laphroaig. Very smokey finish.

Medium body, sting of carbonation and booze.

The Ragnarok is a great beer itself, but the Laphroaig aging is very potent and makes this a truly unique and phenomenal beer. Unfortunately it's not being brewed anymore, at least until DL gets some more barrels. Thankfully a friend shared one of his last bottles. If they bring this back, don't miss it.
