Appearance: Pours very hazy, with a honey color and a one finger pillow; spotty lacing abounds
Smell: Passionfruit, lemon and white grapefruit pith
Taste: Passionfruit with a tart lemon aspect forward with white grapefruit pith developing, in the middle; tart finish
Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation; somewhat puckery
Overall: This is a rather surprising ale with a nice hoppy and tart one-two punch
Thanks, ArtAttackEd, for the opportunity

Hazy straw gold with a thick fuzzy blanket
Aroma is powerful and acidic passionfruit. Passionfruit!!!!! This is the most passionfruit-forward beer I have ever tasted. We recently enjoyed a passionfruit custard with a drizzle of toasted passionfruit seed syrup on top, and this smells identical to that. I also get hints of watermelon, yellow apple and peach on this lovely nose.
Taste is startlingly tart and acidic at first, but passionfruit truly dominates on the palate as well. I also taste peach, with a little grapefruit and a touch of oak aged vinegar. As such, there's with a slight burn on the way down, but it's just so fruity. There is absolutely no indication anywhere that I can find that any fruit was actually added to this beer, which is exceptional.
The body really froths up and fills out when it hits the tongue, but crisps up before the swallow. Overall it's pillowy with a semi-dry finish.

500 ml bottle
Pours a hazy orange golden. Bit of white lacing for a head.
Smells of lemon and tangerine citrus over cracker malts, hints of apple cider vinegar as well.
Flavor is of lemon citrus, cider vinegar, cracker malt, white grape, and an earthy mineral finish.
Light to medium body with lightly stinging carbonation on the tongue.
Solid wild ale with lots of interesting flavor. More earthy and spicy than the standard relic, and more potent. Drinks slower, a little more tart than the average DL offering. Definitely worth trying while it lasts.
