Pours a hazy orange or a pale amber with a voluminous head of loose, off-white bubbles that quickly dissipates. Funk, hay, cider apples, pickled watermelon rind, and unripe strawberries in the nose. Fruity, earthy, and light in body with a slight degree of tart acidity, Strange Roots has made a distinctive, drinkable wild ale. Semi-dry in the finish with more notes of farmhouse cider and green strawberry, this is a challenging but fascinating beer with personality and a sense of place.

375 ml bottle
Pours cloudy peach color, orange-tinged white head is fizzy and dissipates to a lacing.
Smells of tart grape, sour apple, honey, citrus and floral notes.
Tastes of rose water, peach, green apple, lemon, sourdough, cracker and hibiscus.
Light body, light fizz of carbonation.
Light, refreshing, fresh and floral. Very pleasant and easy to drink. Goes down easy, very nice introduction to this new series.
