Cloudy brownish-orange appearance with very little head. Smell consists of fruity esters, a musty graininess, and ripe apricot. Taste comes across slightly sweet and fruity with a mild tartness and sourness; barely discernible hop bitterness. Medium bodied; dry; flat and watery feel.
What chicory? The entire beer comes across as limp and lifeless. It has the barest faint characteristics of a Belgian ale without any standout features. Forgettable.
