Black body with a thin, nearly non-existent head; barely visible rings of lacing. Faint dark grain smell with touches of chocolate. Flavor exhibits lightly charred toast; dirt; faint bitter chocolate; medium hop bitterness. Medium-heavy body with a semi-dry finish.
A blase and weak beer across the board. It lacks depth and the feel of oatmeal. The appearance and smell are way too low-key while the flavor is thin and one-dimensional. It seems watery with barely any smoothness, richness, and little smoothness and sweetness.
