AWESOME! Good amount of hops, coffee bean, smooth, nothing is overwhelming, like a hippy imperial stout. Overall: Awesome!

A collaboration brew with Colorado Springs' Brewers Republic brewery. The ABV is 11.6% per the bartender.
Served in a brandy snifter with a deep black body and a very thin, cream colored head; thin and pervasive sheets of foam cling to the glass. The smell exhibits roasted grain, fig, and raisin notes. The taste has a huge booze presence, tempered with flavors of cola, molasses, raisins and prunes; spicy notes of Cinnamon and cloves; black licorice; baker's chocolate. Smooth and heavy body with lots of residual sugar.
A deep, complex and very satisfying black ale.
