A - Mahogany (with a little red tint) colored beer with a 1/4" beige cap. Nice web-like lace.
S - Chocolate, oak. Butter, diacytl - very close (but not quite) too much.
T - Buttery malt. Hint of chocolate. Thick vanilla. Very wine like. Big, big oak. Type of barrel? My guess was merlot, I was told sherry. Malt driven big beer.
M - Full bodied and tannic. Medium carbonation.
D - Very, very unique. Would be great as a sipper or a ightcap. Tons of oak comes through in this beer, as much as any other oak-aged beer I have had.

Poured ruby red/chestnut with a 1/4" offwhite head. Hint of lacing & head retention
Smell: Malt sweetness, slight fuittyness a big medicinal (spruce/licorice) nose
Taste: Malt sweetness then medicinal notes. Slight nittyness then hints of vanilla & jagermiester. Finishes sweet, slightlty dry & smokey
MF: Medium bodied, lightly cabonated with a slight slick feeling on the tounge & throat
Drinks easy, i believe this will go over big in the winter
