Pops is celebrating his 25th year at Phantom Canyon and helped brew this fantastic Winter ale! Smooth, bold and a touch of sweetness describes both the man AND the beer! Aged on Amburana wood to make it extra special. Cheers to you Pops!

Dark copper body, clear; thin head initially, fading to a wispy ring around the top of the beer as it sits; very sparse flecks of lacing. Light roasted malt nose. Light roasted grain taste that improves as the beer warms; touch of cocoa; delicate malt sweetness; mild hop bitterness. Medium body; smooth; gentle warmth; grows richer in feel as it warms.
This is a 25th anniversary beer brewed in honor of 'Pops', a long-time employee of Phantom Canyon. Jimmy (Pops) started out behind the bar in 1995 but has been a manager there for quite some time now and remains so today.
