Brewed with Chocolate, Brown, Honey and Caramel malts with a good helping of Flaked Barley. The American Brown ale is a food friendly, classic style with aggressively roasty flavor while still being extra drinkable.

Clear, dark brown body; thin, wispy, off-white head. Splended roasted malr nose. Classic English brown ale taste; muted roasted grain and a hint of roasted nuts; miderate bitterness. Medium-light body; light overall smoothness; fine residual sugar note, lightly sweet with an oh-so subtle dryness near the finish
I wonder if this isn't basically the same brown ale the brewery used to serve when they had a hand-pumped beer engine. Regardless, the beer is a fine example of a no-nonsense old school dark ale. Simple yet refined.
