Clear, dark amber body; excellent carbonation; thick, dense head, white and long-lasting. Outstanding nose; notes of pine resin and citrus fruits; some malt sweetness in the background. Fantastic taste; light, honey-like sweetness with a touch of biscuit; bold hop bitterness, herbal and spicy on the palate. Heavy body; crisp with a delicate raspiness on the tongue; light stickiness; a touch of alcohol dryness.
This fantastic India pale ale exudes the classic American tongue-ripper IPAs of yore. There is a nice balance between the malt base and hop profile. Definitely a pleasant beer drinking experience.
ABV: 7%; pouring temperature: 40 °F; crowler date: 08/26/24
