Poured a deep brown with a medium white head.Nose is caramel, toffee, nutty and some maple. Taste had a big malt character with some caramel, nutty flavors, light cocoa and some booze. Mouthfeel was nice and thick, syrupy and medium bodied. Drinkability is good. I def could have had another oe of these and I am not even a fan of the style.

Poured chestnut with a tight .5" white head that quickly vanished. Some lacing & no head retention
Smell: Slight maltiness
Taste: Nutiness up front, followed by grainyness& a slight maltiness. Finished sweet & slighlty fruitty
MF: Medium, but slightly over carbonated
This drank okay, but it's a so-so brown

The beer pours a dark amber/brown color with a thick frothy offwhite head that fades to lacing. The aroma is decent. It has a grainy crystal malt scent that is dry and sweet. The taste is average. It has a bland, grainy crystal malt flavor that finishes dry and earthy. The mouthfeel is decent. It is a medium bodied beer with adequate carbonation. This is an average brown. It's sweet and grainy with a musty finish. It's one and done for me.
