The brewpub's current web listing has this beer at 5.3% ABV.
The pint glass contained a brown body topped with a rich, creamy head. Aroma of a spicy holiday cookie (like a snicker-doodle); molasses. The taste jumps out at you sweetly and treacly; cinnamon and allspice; like cookie dough; faint hop bitterness. Medium bodied with a spicy sharpness on the tongue but with some oat smoothness, too.
A heavy and sweet beer and probably not what one would expect from a brown ale. This ain't your typical brown. The bartender told me some people make ice cream floats with it. I can believe that! The name of the beer pretty well sums things up as far as what you can expect.

A- A clear dark brown with minimal head and lacing
S- Sweet, strong aromas of cinnamon and nutmeg
T- Malt heavy up front followed by a kick of baking spices like nutmeg and cinnamon, brown sugar as well. The aftertaste is uncannily similar to an oatmeal cookie. Not getting much of the raisin though
M- Mildly carbonated with a moderate body makes this very drinkable
O- Pretty good overall and my wife was all about it. Not an everyday beer, but if you want something that tastes like an oatmeal cookie, this is definitely it. Worth trying for sure.
