Whiskey barrel aged amber per the PCBP web site (http://www.phantomcanyon.com/brewery/bower-hill/)
The beer appeared a dark amber with a light head and decent lacing. Aroma exuded pungent whiskey barrel scents with faint malt notes. Flavor came about fruity and boozy; warm bread. Smooth body with a medium weight; dry and astringent finish.
An okay amber but rough around the edges.
