i was a little mixed on this one, and really all of the wild and sour beer we had in here, none of them were real clean to my tastes, and many of them, including this one, were almost over the top acidic. that said, they have some really interesting yeast flavors developed in these beers, and i think this one is well matched with the cherry, not overly fruited as to cover up the yeast, a nice symbiotic thing happening here. the pour is murky and orange and pink in shade, really dense looking for what it is, and not much head, real unrefined here. the fruit is ncie in the taste, red and white wine notes along with it, and a lot of intense acetic sourness along with some somewhat young stinky brett to me, i bet this will mature well, but right now it seems like the mix of wild agents is a little off, and its a slow sipper at best. nots of lime and kiwi to the sourness, some fresh lemon too, it has the potential to be a lot more delicate and sexy than it is. the feel agrees, weighty for the style, lots of wheat particulate and protein it seems in it, and without any real carbonation, which was a theme across the few of these that we had here. more bubbles would certainly be an upgrade. overall a neat beer because its different, but a little amateur and overly sour at the same time, not at all my favorite of the sours we had here...
