Opaque black color. Creamy brown 3 finger head, lasting around 10 minutes, with average legs and swirl reaction. Flavors of dark grains, toffee, cranberries, lemon, and herbal hops. Slick and silky medium body with moderate carbonation. Strong strength finish, indeed quite sour and tart, with a roasted and slightly earthy feel. Doesn't feel very fresh, I don't find the sourness fits well in this stout. Too acidic and astringent, lacking some balance. Uncomfortable chalky and grainy yeast on the tongue. Overall below average quality craft.

Draft: Poured a black color stout with a medium size brown foamy head. Aroma of light sour notes with some roasted malt notes. Taste is a mix of roasted malt notes with some tart notes and a dry finish. Body is about average with good carbonation. Easily drinkable with just enough complexity.

A: Pours pitch black with a solid creamy looking cappuccino head. Very good retention and lacing for the low ABV.
S: Very very light smell, but what there is is pretty good. Powdered cacao, light chocolate milk, cherries and maybe some light lemon juice. Doesn't seem that sour.
T: This is tart and sour. Really tart and sour. It's really well done, the coffee and chocolate notes are there and strangely blend very well with the green apple skin and lemon juice of the beer. It's a wild and confusing taste but it still make sense at the end of the day, much more than this review I'd guess.
M: Very short and light. No stickiness, not much presence. But, it kind of fit with a sour beer, but no really with a stout.
O: I really recommend this beer just to try it. It's quite original. My expectations were very low and this definitely exceeded them. This is imaginative and still very good.

My first sour stout.
Pours a good head that dissipates very quickly. Low/medium carbonation. Smell is a bit of coffee and candied fruits. Taste is very light and sour, an extremely refreshing beer. Did not expect that from a stout. It really is unique. I'm big fan of sour beers and I liked it quite a lot.
