This is a bigger beer than I expected, knowing it’s a DIPA. Bought it for my wife as she prefers less bitter beers. Good balance between sweet/bitter, but this beer is HEAVY. At 9.6 abv one had me ready for a nap.
Not a bad beer at all. Just not necessarily my style.

Great looking pour from a 16 oz can--glowing Amber with a tannish finger head. Light smell of candied honey. Overall, it was a bit sweet and boozy for my palate and I wanted less rather than more half way through.

The Hopslam of Bare Hands? Big DIPA? Check. Big piney, resiny hops? Check. Beautiful slightly hazy burnt orange color with a light tan head? Check. Honey added? Check.
This isn't at the level of Hopslam, but it's a pretty easy drinking, big DIPA.
