Imperial stout brewed with ten different specialty grains and two classic hop varieties. After fermentation, the beer is aged with mango, coconut flakes, and locally-roasted cacao nibs.

I wasn't sure what to expect with this being a tie-in to the Double Thai.P.A. Day festival, and yet a stout. My hope was for something resembling a variant of Mail Order Bride, one of my go-to stout options that isn't always readily available. Turns out it's nothing of the sort.
The pour is where the similarities end, thick with a half-finger of head leaving little trace behind. The mango dominates the nose and palate both, with only subtle traces of the coconut and cacao nibs turning up on occasion; I'm sure they influence the overall character of the beer at every sip, but they are not particularly overt. It's tasty and executes the concept well, but I don't particularly look for bright fruit notes in stouts, preferring darker stone fruit if they are present at all. As such, I appreciate this as a skillfully-made brew, but it's not a game-changer for me.

The pour is jet black with a dark tan head that disappears in seconds. The chocolate and mango dominate the nose, and there is maybe a smidge of coconut.
The chocolate and mango vie for attention on the taste, and there’s also a coconut note, but the mouthfeel is a bit thin for an imperial stout. I’m really enjoying this, but I think Bare Hands may have tried to do too much here.
