Easily the best variant from 2018. Hazy golden. One finger fluffy head, lacing sticks around. Aroma is amazing with lemongrass. Soft bitterness complements the lemongrass and spice. Maybe my favorite beer from these guys so far.

A hazy golden color with a tight off-white head, this beer starts winning on the nose, where the Thai spices and the fruity hops complement each other nicely, but the final victory is the taste, where the lemongrass, kafir lime leaf, and galangal elevate this to world-class territory.

OK, so, this is a New England-style version of the already-popular Thai.P.A. Moderate cloudiness on the pour, a more dry-hopped hop experience, and plenty of lemongrass and galangal. I haven't tried the Double Thai.P.A. yet and will update this review to contrast with it shortly, but for whatever reason, I really do like this significantly more than the regular Thai.P.A., despite not having a particular affinity towards NEIPAs versus more standard IPAs. It has a more balanced, rounded flavor profile compared to the regular version that I get a more singularly herbal impression from. I'm an enthusiast of Thai food and frequently get lemongrass notes from DIPAs, so it's interesting to me personally that I don't get much more lemongrass intensity from a beer purportedly made with it as an explicit ingredient.
