This is my first beer with Nelson hops (atleast that I know of) Pouring this 16 oz. can into a Willi Becher glass it pours out slightly hazy straw like color when held up to the light. It forms a one finger, very rocky and airy white crown.
The smell is a beautiful mix of hop oils, dank piney notes. It smells like a great west coast IPA.
The taste comes in with huge resin and pine notes. Seems like it has some hop oils.
It seems it could use a bit more carbonation to make it really bounce.
Overall, this isn't bad but it's definitely not something I wouldn't be able to live without.

Pours a beautiful golden sunshine color with a sudsy white head that dissipates almost instantaneously. The nose is magnificent, with bright, exotic, tropical citrus aromas and a subtle biscuit malt note.
The tropical flavors dominate the taste, literally - the biscuit malt note has been vanquished by the exotic hop warriors from New Zealand. This is a really nice APA, if a bit one note.
