Pours nearly clear copper color with a dense, creamy white head that laces the glass nicely. The nose is dank citrus, a bit of pine, and some malt sweetness.

The taste is led by some resiny pine, a big slice of tangerine, and some mango, with a nice malt sweetness lingering in the background.

The mouthfeel is crushingly dry, on point for the WCDIPA style. This is not quite as good as the original WCIPA version, IMHO, but it is worthy of your consideration.

L Mostly clear but somewhat hazy nice orangish color
S Lots of tropical fruit
T Had this on tap (just kegged two days before from the brewery) at Tomlinson's Tap House in Indianapolis. We were visiting, I had never had their basic Westy IPA, nor any beer from Bare Hands. My partner loved the Blackberry Raspberry Milkshake. I used to love the bitter West coast beers like Stone Enjoy By and Columbus Creeper, but now I prefer the fruity hazy NE beers. Double Westy was an awesome revelation. Looked more west coast, but no alcohol taste at all, there was an immediate tropical and pale malt sweetness, perfectly balanced with some hoppy lemony citrus. It reminded me of Lawsons Sip of Sunshine (because of the tropical sweetness, but less dank) crossed with the lemony citrus of Heady Topper. Great beer.
F Not thin not syrupy
