Hazed straw with a greenish hue, some effervescence and a finger of sudsy white head. Nice rings of soapy lacing. Pretty enough, but looks nothing like a Milkshake IPA.
Extremely restrained nose with bread and a little tropical fruit.
Definite pineapple, vanilla and ice cream in the taste. A hint of mango, too. It’s sort of sweet, but not over the top.
Weird carbonation prevents this from even sitting on the tongue. Hard to gauge the feel as a result. Fizzy? If you drink this, let it sit in your mouth and tell me if there’s anything there. Really odd. Sort of reminds me of pop rocks without the popping.
The vanilla in this is really vibrant, to the point that it leaves a melted vanilla ice cream impression. Everything else about this (other than the lovely lacing) misses the mark for a Milkshake DIPA, IMO.
