Slightly hazy burnt orange color with a light tan head that provides loads of lacing as you work your way through this massive DIPA, there are big tropical citrus aromas, especially mandarin oranges, grapefruit, and passion fruit.
The mandarin oranges are the predominant flavor, and they are delicious, but the star is the crackery malt flavor, which provides a critical balance to this hop bomb. Really well done by my local.
