Gold indeed with the colour of the beer with a spartan white head.
Smells of wheat crackers, golden syrup and hyacinth.
Malty and dry in flavour salt water taffy before tapering into peppery yeast and bitter hops.
Slightly lacking in mouthfeel but not a million miles off with well suited carbonation.
I'm not a great fan of Golden ales but this is enjoyable.
