190ml cask serving at c'est what, toronto. oct 4 2015
a: a really light orange or golden kind of yellow. topped with a bit of white head
s: hints of peach and apple. nearly aroma-less
t: peach and apple from the start to the end of the mid-palate, then it has a kind of crude malt flavour that closes out the tasting
m: nice light mouthfeel, but not watery. low carbonation
o: really weird hop flavours, definitely different from your every-day grapefruit-orange-pineapple-tropical-pine bomb. kinda drinks like a malty, not-sour cider. far from an atrocity of a beer -- it kinda tastes good, but it's just not what i expected with a name like "fresh hop"

Served on cask at Volo, reviewed from notes.
Hazy pale golden blonde colour, one finger dense white head, some lace as well. Smell is of biscuity malt, some fruity hops, citrusy and quite bright, a little more toasty malt on the back end, a nice but fairly boring nose. Taste has some nice fruity hop flavours, orange and to a lesser degree peach, lightly bitter throughout with a buttered bread malty flavour in the finish and aftertaste.
Lightly carbonated, lightly creamy body, a touch watery at times. Solid and easy drinking cask ale, refreshing but still full flavoured.
