Had on cask. Amber brown somewhat see through body with a khaki head. Smells nutty and earth with pale hops. Taste is more toffee than caramel, adds dried dark fruit and a whisper of dark leaning grain. Feel is malty and smooth with a warming finish that is emblematic of the style, lighter bodied

Nitro can purchase from the LCBO for around $4 CDN. Canned February 7, 2024. Listed at 4.3% ABV. Served cold into a pint glass.
Rich amber colored brew with great clarity and a two fingers of dense and frothy white head. Great head retention.
Smell - Clean and grainy lots of dark fruits and some spicy accents.
Taste - Robust and fruity, huge bready aspects and also a delicious toffee note. More cereal grains to close with some dark berries. Intensifies as the beer warms.
Mouthfeel - Easy to drink, low carbonation, medium-light body.
Overall - An excellent English ale with loads of flavor and drinkability. The type of beer I could very happily enjoy all day long. I will certainly keep my eyes peeled for more of Al's.

A quite serviceable English Pae Ale. Maybe not quite as bitter as you might expect, but overall well-balanced versus malty sweetness. Not imposing in anyway, but quite proper at every step. Flavourful, easy on the palate, appetizing aroma. Coppery clear with a short-lived head, some lace. I'd drink this again.
