A dark brown body with a medium sized light chestnut coloured head. A sweet roasted malt aroma is what I am getting here. Very nice. Taste is hints of espresso, some mild bitterness, and just a smidgen of wateryness. very easy to drink, and it has a lot of flavour for a very low alcohol beer.

Rich dark brown appearance with a creamy nitro head - quite a looker. Roasted malts in the nose. Creamy roasted malt flavour with coffee hints. Very smooth and light on the palate. A nice example of a sadly unpopular style, and a perfect session beer (unless you want to get wasted).

A - This is a great looking beer - dark, dark brown with a creamy nitro head. Darker than I expected though.

S - Very toasty, with notes of chocolate and coffee.

T - Rich roasty flavours, with lots of coffee and some fruitiness. Hops are in the background only.

M - Smooth, but thinner in body than it appears, and definitely less creamy than expected.

D - A bit one dimensional maybe, but what's there is tasty. Leans heavily towards the dark roasted malt I - I initially thought I was served the coffee porter instead of the brown.

3.4% I believe, I think this is supposed to have been re-vamped sometime recently.

Pours a clear brown, thick tan head, nice lacing, good retention. Smell is sweet, nutty, some light roast and toffee, malty and some citrus hops. Taste is similar, nutty maltiness up front, roast through the middle, light bitterness. Mouthfeel is light bodied with low carbonation. Very smooth, and lots of flavour considering the low ABV. Nice session beer. Although I'm confused why they put this on nitro tap.

Another very good offering from Cest What. Ive come to appreciate their level of consistency, I havent found anything outstanding yet but Ive always enjoyed their beer - they have all been very nice to drink. The Brown Ale is no different. Nice smooth texture and decent aroma, seems like a good session beer, it is very mild and soft. I enjoyed while watching football and the two went together pretty nicely.

Opaque chocolatey brown colour with a dense, light brown head from the nitro dispense. Good retention and some nice lacing. Light, sweet, malty aroma with a little chocolate and roasted, maybe some nuttiness. Low bitterness, mild malt with a little roasted, slight acidic character. Short roasted finish. Light body without being watery and low carbonation. Overall, a nice light session ale with some decent flavour.

Another solid brew from C'est What. It's a solid brown colour, with a creamy tan nitro head. Aroma is faint, but of roasted malts and some nutty and fruitiness.

For such a mild beer, this is very impressive. Full of flavour. Roasted malts, slight coffee flavour, nutty, slight fruit (apricots and peach). Light, very smooth, full bodied. A great session beer.

Roasty, a mild version of the coffee porter. One of my mates politely didn't like these color beers, but other found it was an easy drink. Nice foam on mid brown. A slightly better than average brew and might have again. Not as good as similar Peculiar by Granite which adds mint.

An exceptionally smooth and easy drinking English mild brown ale. This would probably be better on cask, but it did me just fine on nitro. This beer was a nice dark brown colour with a nice fluffy, nitro induced head. The aromas were faint yet beautiful. The aromas were of roasted malts, nuts, and faint hops. The taste was excellent. Very subtle, yet very flavorful as well. This was a very nutty and roasty beer. A masterpiece. The drinkablity was top notch as well and the mouthfeel was once again...liquid silk.
Can C'est What? do no wrong?
Cheers!
