From BeerAdvocate Magazine #91 (Aug 2014):
Vinouse, Tart, Phenolic, Bone-Dry
Batch # 003, Bottled On: 5/19/2014. Pours murky and reddish with a creamy lace. Vinous, medical, and some funk arose the senses. The palate is highly carbonated and super creamy with a big oaky and acidic character that moves into notes of red grapes, black cherries, tart plumes and underlying medicinal phenolics. Finishes extremely dry; bone-dry with residual hay flavors. Needs more body, sweetness, and alcohol complexity to help balance the dominating phenols.
STYLE: Dubbel | ABV: 9.1% | AVAILABILITY: Limited
