Poured a clear golden orange with a small head that quickly dissipated. The smell was barnyard funk. I detected some juniper upon warming, and this went well with the tartness and acidic mouthfeel. Overall, much better than I expected.

On tap at The Odd Duck (Austin, TX), served in a small snifter. Pours a slightly hazy, bright gold with frothy fringe of white foam. Nice layers of flavor: spicy saison yeast, farmhouse funk, slight alcoholic warmth, oak and cleansing lactic tartness. Medium body and carbonation. Good balance of complex flavors; food friendly.
