Also had infected beer from batch 05 bottled in Aug. 2017. Bummer.

Unfortunately the bottle I got was infected. The sugars were all gone, there was a tang to the beer that was unpleasant. Any time you work with a barrel aged beer there is always that risk I guess. Disappointing. Going to take it back to the retailer that sold it to me.
