Cloudy brown, big off-white head. Malt and yeasty aroma with spices. Yeast and spices in a malty taste. Dry bitterness in the finish. High-carbonated, full-bodied. Interesting kind of beer de garde.

From a can and beer of the month club. Looks has a slight beige foam head with a not quite clear, not quite opaque pale amber body. Notes of caramel and malty breadiness are evident, along with some citrus/earthy hoppiness. Combined they yield a pretty enjoyable scent. Taste is very pleasant with the malt backbone and earthy notes being the primary flavors while some of the citrus notes dance around on the tongue. Feel is quite unsurprisingly pretty easy to drink, although a bit of an acerbic quality comes out at times that is pretty enjoyable (no doubt from the hops). An enjoyable offering!

Served on tap in a pint glass
Appearance – The beer is served a amber brown color with a one finger head of white foam. The head fades very fast leaving a trace of lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the brew is light overall, with some aromas of toasted bread and a little bit caramel. Along with these aromas comes a little bit of herb and a touch of earth.
Taste – The taste begins with a toasted brown bread flavor with a bit of caramel and molasses sweetness. Upfront there is also a little bit of herbal and earthy hop as well as a touch of char. These tastes take the taste to the end, and with a slight decrease in the sweet, one is left with a toasted bready taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is medium in thickness and creaminess with a lower carbonation. For the style the feel is good and makes for an easy sipper.
Overall – A decent dark amber brew. A rather nice and easy sipping brew.

A new amber with an old name. 6 pack cans. Hazy amber with thin white head. Biscuit nose with citrus. Clean and malty. Really like this
