Over $14 for a 16 ounce can so it better be good. 15:53 on the bottom of the can means nothing to me.

I pulled the tab, bought it warm, and it started to gush. Lost a couple of ounces.

It pours a hazy straw yellow, almost orange, decent head of foam but man, I doubt that I have ever seen foam dissipate that quickly.

The nose is very fruity and sour. Tropical fruity with notes of mango and passionfruit. Somewhat acetic, more than somewhat pleasing.

This is bursting with flavour. Passionfruit and mango are brilliant. Somewhat acetic sourness present.
Finish hints at some lime tartness.
This is quite sour so take that into account if you see it on the shelf. And again, take the price into consideration. For me, it is worth a one time purchase.

I've never heard a beer sound like this before! The carbonation on this beer is out of control. It's translucent, closer to opaque in appearance very similar looking to pineapple juice. Some fruit seed/pulp particulates visible. Has something unfamiliar in the scent, kind of like suntan lotion, but mostly tropical fruit. Tastewise is a really really good gose. Tart and a little salty, not overly so, with flavors of passion fruit, pineapple, and banana. Never had a Brazilian beer before, but am absolutely glad to have such a great introduction. Will be watching closely to see what makes its way to the States over the coming years.

L-The beer pours a slightly hazy yellow with a one finger white head. The head recedes typically quickly for this style leaving no lacing behind.
S-The nose is lightly fruity with some sourness reminiscent of lemon.
T- On the palate the beer is classic Gose. Lemony and moderately tart up front with the back end being dryed out with a clearly perceptible brine finish. Level of brine is a big stickler for me with Gose, but this one is perfect in that aspect.
F- Feel is light as it should be. Carbonation level is prickly and appropriate. The combination of acidity and salt make the beer drink fairly lightly.
O- I'm not really sure what makes this a Tropical Gose other than where it was brewed. That said it's a very good example of the style that I would drink again. Recommended.

It looks like a watery, cloudy, chicken broth.... And if you let it sit then a transformation happens and it looks like a wheat beer with two spoonfuls of salt in the bottom. Wafting it smells like a sweet fruit adult slushy with a heavily salted rim. First stop: that sip starts like you're drinking that slushy but no. Oh no. It floods into a salty wave that cascades down your tongue and splashes against your cheeks with the assault of an angry ocean current. Salt. Brine. It dries your teeth with a strong citrus lashing. And finishes as though you've just drank lemon juice from your refrigerator. That has dried your mouth out and left a wake of chalk down your tongue. It stings the back of your jaw which you remember from too many sour candies as a child. So ah...it's pretty good. Cheers to smooth sailing, sailor.
