this is super dialed in, better than a lot of other examples of the style i had in western montana this week, which was a fair few. its just my second from these guys, and its very impressive top to bottom. paler than many, not super hazy either, unfiltered more than intentionally thick, nice fizzy white head too from the tap, and more yellow than orange, a good looking glass of beer. it smells very weedy, like straight up dank, not as common in the hazy ones, as i really perceive no fruitiness to the hop profile at all, maybe a little lime or lime leaf vibe, but its straight up heady pot, oily and richly green without any bite, very appealing. the flavor takes a little turn, its weedy yes, but now i get fresh tangerine and maybe a lemongrass note along with it, cool hop profile, not overdone at all, and very dynamic. maybe slight peach too, popping freshness also, and a light but not irrelevant grain base that gives a little structure and depth but stays out of the way. the ferment is clean and that makes this for me too, nothing at all from the yeast, rare in the style these days and much appreciated here. there is no internal battle going on here, everything is pulling in the same direction, and this comes across as highly refined and intentional and intelligent, especially compared to some of its peers. really tasty and also very drinkable, some light bitterness late but a mellow body, high carbonation and expressive zippy finish. very well done, i will be on the hunt for more of their beer when i am back out this way next!

Served on tap in a pint glass
Appearance - The beer is served a hazy orange color with a tiny white head. The head fades very fast to leave a little bit of foam on the sides of the glass.
Smell - the aroma is massive of a orange juice smell mixed with a little bit of tropical fruits and a hint of bread. Some smells of herb and pine are there as well giving it an inviting aroma overall.
Taste - The taste begins with a sweeter tangerine and orange taste mixed with a little bit of grapefruit hop. As the taste advances the sweetness increases a bit with some hop tastes of a pine and herbal nature coming to the tongue. The later hop flavors ramp up in intensity as the taste moves to the end, leaving one with a sweet but nice sorta dank hop taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel- The body of the beer is slightly chewier with a carbonation level that is average. For the sweet and dank the feel is good and makes for a easy drinker.
Overall- A pretty nice and easy drinking brew that had a good easy drinking feel.
