Drinking this at gate 133 Tom Bradley at LAX. Solid 3.5 type of beer but not sure if worth the 20 bucks. Tip is included. Taste is hoppy and lingers around but in a good way. Great beer for 7%, the price just left a bad taste in my mouth.

Pours golden yellow with white fluffy cap from can to pint glass. Malty sweet notes of honey and biscuit accented by hoppy floral, bitter grapefruit, and piney punch. Good local CA IPA at 7% ABV.

At LAX gate 130. Nice pour and I could smell the aroma as soon ad David put it in front of me. Hoppy but not overpowering. Great way to bid tata to the US before our New Zealand adventure.

I’m more than “Inclined” not to drink this beer again. But it’s like sister 3 of the Karlson clan; they are mostly easy on the eye, but sis’ #4 caught some branch from the ugly tree. Again, she didn’t get clubbed by it, but it still gave her that asymmetrical nose.

The California beerscape is largely build around the drier and more bitter West Coast IPA, but with a host of new hops on the market, the Santa Monica Brew Works team is inclined to use them.
Constructed with Summit, El Dorado, Citra and Simcoe varieties, Inclined IPA pours rather copper and amber with a honey-like hue. As a creamy off-white froth builds on the beer, its spicy, sharp, grassy and citrusy hops seem dipped in sweet honey as well. Sweeter in its first sip, a malty impression of caramel, nuttiness, light toast and honey suggests an overall taste of granola.
Rising hops take hold over the fading malts as the ale rolls along the middle palate. They do so with the taste of lemon, grapefruit, orange and lime with a subtle backdrop of spicier grape, mango and apricot. Trending quickly bitter, the late taste is decidedly hoppy with a sharper bitterness of pine, peppery grasses and herbs, light hemp and a closure of lemongrass, verbena and tea.
Medium bodied and seeming fuller than the typical Pacific IPA, Santa Monica's Inclined IPA is a throwback balance to old school IPA but the more modern hops aren't really doing the beer any favors. It's a nice beer that cut the thirst on the Santa Monica Pier as it finished on the bitter side of bittersweet with a long and grassy aftertaste.

Nearly clear amber with adequate foam in the Scotch thistle glass. Plenty of carbonation with prickles on the tongue. Aroma of citrus and mango. Flavors of dark fruit with grapefruit peel. Bitter aftertaste with a little heat and peppery sensation.
Hops are listed as Simcoe, Citra, Summit, and El Dorado. A nice balance of malty sweetness and hops with moderate but lingering bitterness. I woundn't call it "easy drinking" as the label suggests, but it's a flavorful and robust American style IA. From the 19.2 oz can purchased at a local liquor store.

If I got a 5 oz pour, I would drink 3 oz of it.

I found this at local liquor stores and it is fabulous. I found it in the tall 17.7 ounce cans. One of these and you definitely feel it. Would recommend to anyone who likes a tasty IPA.
