On tap at the source. A new variant on the PCH base beer which is a golden milk stout, now aged in a Buffalo Trace barrel. Previous version was aged in a Calumet barrel. Pours a slightly chill hazed amberish orange (dark gold) under a half-inch thick white head which leaves sheet lace. Aroma is caramel, fruity sweetness (lactose) with trace bourbon notes. Flavor is complex with a woody and mild boozy sweetness. Semi-full body and moderate carbonation. Finish is mellow.
