On tap at the brewery. Black colour, tan head. A decent, well made and well balanced stout, with a nice roastiness but not too extreme. Pleasant to drink outside the brewery in the October sun.

If I had to, I could bang this review out in one sentence: Really roasty stout, no adjuncts. But surely you want more detail. Pours a black power beer with ample 3/4" tan head. Good retention. The aroma just blasts you over and over with that prototypical power roasting of the malt. That's all there is. Nothing else.
Taste, just keeps dropping those roasted notes, this beer is everything a foreign export stout should be. There aren't any dark fruit like yeast notes creeping in as if it was a Russian Imperial Stout. It has more dryness than a chewy American stout. The bitterness is there, but its not American levels of ibu, although the significant roasting probably does contribute a few ibus at the end of the day. More than any other beer can contribute from the malt roasting I bet.
So anyways, one trick pony, which is what the style should be, and it hits those goals. I could see someone's uncle going apeshit for this stuff.
