Draft at the Happy Viking. Hazy golden, orange tones, scant head. Aroma is light citrus and bready malts. Taste brings in the bitterness of the blood orange and light caramel malts. Mild sweetness with a fruity bitter tang.

Too hoppy for me. Can’t really taste blood orange, just hops. If you want a much better blood orange beer go with SLO brewing company’s, Cali-Squeeze.

12oz can poured into 14oz teku. Poured a lightly cloudy yellow-orange color with 1/2 inch of white head that low-moderate retention and lacing.

Fruit and fruity hops had the lead in the aroma, with some citrus hops and light grain in the background.

Same story on the tongue, hop and fruit dominant, with just a bit of malt.

The body was typically medium, and had a semi-sweet finish.

Drinkability was fine, I enjoyed it, but not sure I would seek out another. Overall, a pleasant enough brew, probably worth trying if you see it.

Smells fresh, pours clean with minimal foam. Tons of lace. Bursting citrus smell, mouthfeel is good and syrupy and sticky, good carbonation, finishes bitterish. Balanced with sweet. Excellent.

12 oz can poured into a Sam Adams perfect pint glass.

Cloudy golden-straw color, thick white head

Nose: lots of citrus, strong orange presence. Touch of bready malt.

Taste: orange up front followed by bready malt and a touch of herbal hop presence. Finishes dry with lingering mild bitterness.

Light body, dry.

Look: A beautiful copper color with moderate carbonation. This beer has a nice head that disappears between 5-10 minutes.
Smell: This beer smells fruity and tropical. Good hops. Leaves some room to be desired in the strength of the flavors, but overall good.
Taste: Hoppy. Fruity with some underlying tropical fruit flavors. This beer is not overwhelming and is easy to drink at 6 percent alcohol content.
Feel: Light! This IPA is easy to drink and seems to fit a hot summer evening.
Overall: Well done! Always room for improvement, but this beer leaves me satisfied :)
